Ivan and Laia are wonderful people and amazing hosts. I had the luck and the pleasure to stay at The Point for an entire month and I couldn’t have wished for a better place where to spend my time in the Mentawais. Staying at the point just feels like staying at home, the rooms are cozy and the food it’s top quality and varied everyday and the staff always manages to put a smile on your face. HT resort is just 5 mins walking distance and the The Point surf spot (my favorite) is right in front of the house. If you don’t feel like surfing one day you can rent a scooter to explore the island or you can get an amazing massage directly on the premise. Or you can try to challenge Ivan on a chess game! Love you guys, I’ll be back.
Extremely friendly and helpful hosts who took great care of my dad and I. Excellent food (they were able to cater for vegetarians really well) plus heaps of good knowledge about the surf and other stuff. Great location right in front of a really fun wave and just down the road from HT’s. Helped us organise travel to and from north sipora as well. Would certainly recommend!
Such an amazing experience at The Point Surf house. Incredible meals with some veggie options and wonderful breakfasts everyday.
The bedroom was so good, air conditioner, comfy bed and incredible views.

Great accomodation with aircon in the rooms and right infront of the point wave. Laia and Ivan are very helpful and great hosts.
